Any language is good for big projects. What is not good is so weak programmers, lack of architecture and automation
In large projects, the language is not important, there are usually several of them, and this is how it should be.
Why not use both?

A big project has money for specialists
Based on this assumption, choose the PL on which features are sawn the fastest
Then there is at least some chance that the project will become large and an architect will appear in it, or at least a middle who has development experience
