Python as Google Interview Language?
Good day!
It is clear that Python is one of the "official" languages in Google + "don't care" in what language you solve the problem in the interview. But still, I read a lot on the net that they are asked to use Java or C ++ in the context of some tasks. Is it so? I really don't want to learn Java, C++ after Ruby, Python.

Tasks are different. There are problems that in any modern language can be expressed in the correct solution. And there are tasks that are more specific in this regard. Just “learning” the language will not be enough to solve such problems; here you need sufficient experience and understanding why this problem must be solved in this particular language.
Specifically, at an interview at Google, they were absolutely fine with Python for solving problems. Although some in C / C ++ are easier to solve.
They mainly look at the solution algorithm, boundary condition checking, time complexity (and your estimate of it).
If you are applying for a Java developer position, it is logical that the test task will be in Java.
