Push notifications for new mail to gmail on a regular phone?

Friends, a question arose. Can a regular phone (not android / ios) receive push messages about new mail? Now my android informs me about new mail instantly, right after the letter arrives. Can "regular nokia" do the same?

If "regular Nokias" support PUSH messages. You will also need a GMAIL client for a "regular Nokia".
More information about PUSH here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Push_technology

Normal nokia on Symbian, after the appropriate settings, I received messages about the arrival of mail to gmail in real time. But, SURPRISE, the battery was barely enough for a day of lying on the table.

This is the result that Google came up with. That is, we start a mailbox for which your mobile operator supports the delivery of notifications via sms and redirect letters from the main mailbox there. It seems to me that for the old-school Nokia, SMS messages are quite an alternative to push. And then the letter itself can be read from a computer :)

ordinary Nokia how ordinary? so, if you leave QIP for Symbian, then there will be push notifications. Works better than Google's gmail app

Kyivstar used to have an email2sms service. It was possible to forward letters in the form of sms to your 3410
