pulseaudio not working in readonly mode, how to fix?

Guys, what should I do to make pulse run in readonly mode? My qt application uses qsound, and when I autorun xinit and the application, the sound I need simply does not work. I also tried to manually start the pulse, but in the end it says:

E: [pulseaudio] main.c: Failed to start the daemon.

Apparently he needs to write something somewhere, but I don’t understand where. And yet, alsa works when I run it through mplayer, if you can run sound in the application not through pulse, but through alsa, then how?
