Pug console freezes?

After the command in the console git bash
pug -w index.pug The actions
to be performed are written, and then the dollar sign disappears and the path to the master branch is not written .
5 minutes, apparently the console freezes?
Or what is it? how to fix?

found out that you just need to stop the process through Ctrl-C
