Publishing long articles?

Since the limit on the length of articles has noticeably decreased recently, the question arises, what is the best way to publish long articles? My last experience, broken down into 4 parts, seemed to me not very successful, it litters the main one, and the people were quite actively minus at first.
Imagination gives rise to the following options:
- do not publish
- try to compress up to 12k characters
- split into parts
- make a topic-link to the document somewhere on Google Docs

Write the entire post in one big picture! And the weight will be less.
upd. No, two pictures. And then habrakat will not share :)

I think to combine the 2nd and 4th points, i.e. put the main theses and main goodies of the article in 12k and at the end something like “you can read some more details here” with a link to some google docs with missing nuances

Definitely break it down! Just post with a little break.

To act like a well-known person is not very important parts to do with pictures. In my opinion, the output is not bad, although it is not without several shortcomings. You definitely don’t need to split, sometimes it’s quite difficult to track a new part. I wouldn’t read the docks through Google, but here it’s completely IMHO :-)

Large articles are rarely read, so it is best not to publish, or split, but not “part 1 - part 4”, but simply into different articles

As I understand it, if you publish to your blog later than habr, then this is allowed by the rules.
So you can combine - parts. And when will the last one be published in the same Google docs.
Another thing is to make corrections here and there
