PSD to .AI conversion?
Good evening dear!
A colleague asked for help, I need a club card design, a firewood format requirement or an illustrator ...
But I am more or less versed only in Photoshop.
I heard that you can convert .PSD to .AI, the question is - will the quality change much? Is it worth it to convert?
And tell me please, is there a resource similar to photoshop-master (lessons, sources, additions), but only for InDesign or Illustrator?
Thanks

No, you cannot convert a raster to a vector. On the contrary, it is possible.
you can throw a psd-shku into a chandelier and embit while keeping the layers. Get almost, almost.
You can translate, but the work is too long and thankless (in extreme cases, you can use the method if the objects are large, without small details):
1. Make a design in Photoshop in black and white.
2. Save each object separately as png
3. Open the png file in illustrator
4. Trace the image
5. Collect all objects according to the first layout and decorate
6. It is better to drive the text onto the map in illustrator and translate it into curves.
