Protecting your macbook from theft?

I am a recent macOS user.
Heard about software that will allow you to remotely track the location of the macbook, take a screenshot, take a picture from the webcam, etc in case of theft.

Tell me, what is better for these purposes to use?

You can use the built-in "Find My Mac" in the settings, in the iCloud section. And then on the site icloud.com you can see on the map where the mac is now. There you can also open access to the poppy, the same photo stream so beloved by everyone and so on ...

If suddenly something - carefully use the "wipe all data" service, so you will lose connection with your device, and you are unlikely to find it. I speak from my own experience

You can remove the password on EFI, and you can also unlock the deleted poppy. To do this, you need to flash the EFI firmware on the programmer (write a working firmware with a different serial number). They sometimes contact us with such a problem, but we refuse if the person does not have documents confirming the purchase. Usually they say that they bought it from their hands, and then the former owner blocked the poppy.
