Proposing and accepting hypotheses?

Good day to all!
I received a test task in one large company for the position of an analyst (already the 4th stage):
There is a set of scientific articles (Russian and English), there are about 100 of them, you need to conduct the most in-depth analysis of this whole case and (most importantly) put forward and test hypotheses. It is the text that is needed for analysis, without any go into the details of what is written.
Cleaned up everything superfluous. Divided everything into sentences/paragraphs/pages, calculated the distribution of the number of sentences by the number of words/characters in it, the distribution of the number of characters by the number of words in a sentence, separately for Russian/English text, the frequency of prepositions, counted vowels/consonants words that start with vowels/consonants and much more.
Now about hypotheses. I can say, for example, that Russian words are on average longer than English ones. But I can’t accept this hypothesis in any way, I can simply give the probability of this event, and here is a vicious circle: I look at the graph, I see the maximum, put forward and accepted it as true, it’s clear that this is not correct.
The second option, I can look at the distribution and say something about its nature, parameters. Everything here is scientifically accepted. BUT it seems useless and not informative to me(
Question: Maybe someone has worked with similar tasks and knows what they want to get from me? An example of some good hypothesis will tell?
hr will not give such hints(
Thank you

They want to receive analytics from you with your own confirmation of the correctness of the hypothesis. All hypotheses that you put forward must be irrefutable. e. You must be able to defend your point of view and convince why you made this particular conclusion

what is the purpose of the analysis? You understand that analysis for the sake of analysis is useless. There must be some practical
