Proper network organization

Good afternoon, hackers.

Tell me please.

Now in our office there is a network, as in the diagram below: the

Internet comes through optics, it starts up at the switch port. Then the WAN of the router is plugged into another port and a VLAN is created from these two ports. The router goes to the Internet, respectively.

The office has 6 computers, 6 VoIP phones and one server. The server performs the roles: Asterisk-server, exchanger, stores MSSQL database.
All of them, respectively, are connected to the rest of the switch ports.

Now there is a need to move the Internet entry point, server, switch and router to an adjacent room (20 meters away, connection through the basement). This is what I came up with: The

question is:

Won't the network be too slow on the computers on the left if they access both the Internet and the server to the server on the right through one wire? What other solutions are there?

Thank you!

Well, your plan hasn't changed. And if you care about these 20 meters, do not be afraid, if a good cable, then 150m will be within 90-99 Mbps

Have you tried folding the utilization of interfaces towards the server and towards the router? This will be the answer. How do you imagine the degree of reliability of the answer of strangers who have no idea about the nature of the traffic driven in your network?

On the load that you described, you can do it safely. Those 20 meters of cable won't make any difference if they're laid correctly. Under load, your server resources will run out faster than the cable bandwidth.

or replace the old switch with a switch with gigabit interfaces or raise the 2nd set on the server. interface, run 1 more cable for these 20m and connect the server with one port directly to the gigabit port of the switch on the left ...
