Prompt services to send an alert to your iphone from a script?

There is a perl script that sends a notification via sms through any service to a mobile phone. To do this, the generated URL is simply called. The service is paid.

There is a desire to switch from sms-informing to push notification , but there is no experience and desire to write an iphone application for these purposes. So far, I haven’t come up with anything smarter than sending myself a message on VKontakte. What will be the offer?

Push can only be received on an already installed application, accordingly, sending a message to yourself on Twitter, facebook or email with a configured push will not be particularly different - unless an extra application will take up space.
The easiest way to do this is through mail and twitter. Twitter has a well-documented api, but mail is also mail in Africa.
