Promising Technologies/Frameworks for C#
Soon the moment of graduation from the institute is approaching and it will be necessary to look for a job. I know C# relatively well, but I have not mastered any special technologies. Tell me, please, what promising areas should be studied and what literature would you recommend.
I understand simple technical English.

ASP.NET + ASP.NET MVC.
Or Silverlight + WCF.
Better all together.
And do not forget that you will often have to deal with MS SQL.
Literature is easy to search, you go to amazon.com, enter the name of the technology and choose the book with the best ratings. Then you either buy it, or look for the Russian edition, or look for pdf on flazx.us.
If you love making games, then unity3d is for you. The development is done in C#. You can find the literature on the official website of the framework.
In general, .NET technology is in great demand these days. In literature, I still advise you to read Erich Gamma, Richard Helm "Design Patterns" for a start, then go deeper into a specific area
Promising direction 1 - WEB: HTML5 + JS, respectively ASP.NET MVC (WebForms wither every day) and of course MS SQL, MS SQL is generally the most popular additional technology in all vacancies, add EF here.
Promising direction 2 - Mobile phones: Silverlight, maybe some engines like Farseer, if you write games. However, I have some doubts about this, most likely WinPhone will be popular, but I'm worried about Silverlight.
In general, I myself would like to know what will be popular in 5 years, but there is only one way to find out.
