Project sync when working with Android Studio and Bitbucket?
Hello.
We are working on a project with a small team - 4 programmers.
We use Android Studio.
For work we use Bitbucket.
In the project we use mapsforge. The library requires Gradle version 1.1
After updating Android Studio, the Gradle version has been updated to 2.1, which now causes errors.
At the same time, programmers use the Win7 OS and various versions of Linux.
Only the project files are under control, the settings files are ignored, because. otherwise there are conflicts on different OS. I can't explain why this is happening.
This is the maximum information that I am ready to provide at the moment, if any more information is needed to answer the question, please write in a comment or DM and I will provide it.
--------
Now the crux of the matter - can you suggest a way to sync the project data between us, such that it allows us to work in Android Studio without the risk of the project collapsing as a result of updates to Studio itself or Gradle?
Maybe someone faced a similar problem, or met examples or instructions on the Internet. We welcome any information, including links to possible solutions or instructions.
In turn, the two of us continue to google and try different options. So far no solutions have been found. The option to downgrade Gradle to version 1.1 causes the project to crash. already Android Studio itself refuses to work with Gradle versions below 2.1 in our project. New projects are launched without problems. I also can’t explain the reason, because. I don’t understand what exactly doesn’t suit Studio.
