programming language for snmp

Good afternoon.

At the moment I work in one office, in the development and testing department. Not the point.
Quite often we have to test our manufactured equipment.
I use bash scripts to work on snmp - commands are stupidly sent, sometimes I use awk for tests for step-by-step measurements.

I was recently asked by colleagues to share "test programs".

Since some work on windows, I decided to build a Windows application to work with our equipment.

What to choose? Delphi? Visual BASIC?
Well, I'm not at all a connoisseur of gui programming, but I have basic knowledge.
Please give me some advice first.
Thank you.

I can't say anything about the subject area, but yes, Delphi is simple as a brick, both for the GUI and for everything else.
