Programming language for an engineering site?

Hello,
please help with advice ,
I am making a website for myself - a website on the topic of work in the field of design. regulatory documents, etc., plus, as an additional feature, to attract customers, I want to make an additional section for visitors, where they could fill in certain fields, select checkboxes, etc. get the information they need on design standards, and maybe the finished result of some kind of calculation.
I am already a little familiar with PHP and JS, and as I understand it, at the moment it can be implemented in both languages, but since I myself am not a programmer, this is a hobby, I would like to get a decent result with minimal immersion in the programming language - based on your experience, which programming language will be easier to achieve this goal?
PS if everything works out well, but I'm sure it will) I want to build up the site according to its capabilities of such interactive help, so that later I can try to somehow monetize it, i.e. Based on this, I also think which way to go ....
well, plus I like it, what if I can’t stop and change my job profile? )
tell me what to choose then ?????? )

Everything is simple here - firstly, you need to master js css html
, then if the server is normal on php, then master php
or make the server on node.js,
but for a beginner it will probably be more difficult, because php is everywhere, you can even do it on a free server at the beginning
