You can write applications on Adobe AIR3 and Flex Mobile SDK4.5.1. A large number of components, support for layouts, vector skins and excellent speed, you don't need a mac. Documentation above the roof.
But this is actually a matter of taste, but at the end you will get a cross-platform application for Android and for Playbook.
