Process sff8472 eats CPU on Cisco 3750x. How to cure?

Cisco IOS Software, C3750E Software (C3750E-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.0(2)SE5 , RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
The sff8472 process eats 60-70% of the CPU all the time.
