Problems with pure c encoding. How to decide?

Good afternoon! I started to study C, but the following problem arose:
When starting the program, instead of the normal output, rhombuses with a question mark (attached) .
How to solve it? Compiler gcc 7.3.0, addons for c/c++ installed in vsc.

Rename the "Desktop" directory to something in English and preferably without spaces.
