I am studying for a master's degree in a pedagogical university at the Faculty of Computer Technology and I am fond of programming. Master's work should cover and solve some problem in education (after all, a pedagogical university), but it is also desirable that a program / system be developed that solves this problem.
At this stage, it is necessary to choose a topic for writing a paper, and therefore a problem for solving it. So here's a question for you, Habravchans: what are the problems in education now? What processes can be automated? What can be improved?
There was an idea to automate the process of "roll call" of a large number of students. For example, a teacher has a server program running, to which students connect from android devices / laptops and send a message “on the spot”. Well, the teacher can see all the statistics - who is, who is not, what percentage of attendance, the attendance history of a particular student, and so on. But this idea doesn't seem like a master's work.
Can you give some ideas?

2-literate computer programs for teaching mathematics, physics, chemistry and astronomy. For the ones that I know for secondary school teachers are just either a presentation or a prohibitively complex program. Naturally, it should have a chip of torsion of molecules, stars, physical models according to formulas and show similar processes in dynamics.
