I have a problem. Connected 2 monitors to Ubuntu, but 2 monitor does not display the correct resolution. I need 1280x1024, but it only outputs 800x640. How to ask him?

man xrandr
You can also use the tools built into gui - they are even in the old TDE
UPD: You can manually write modeline in xorg.conf but for bubuntovods this is already such black magic that I will not advise :)
