Problem with optibay HDD?
The problem is actually of this kind: there is a laptop on which I installed an SSD drive as a replacement for the native HDD. I installed it in place of my native disk, but it’s a pity to throw it away, so I decided to buy an Optibay and stick it in instead of a drive, so that I could store all kinds of rubbish on it and so on. In the course of my various attempts, the following problem came to light: the laptop tightly does not want to detect two disks in the BIOS. We tried different optibays and in the end it became clear that it wasn’t about them, since it still wasn’t determined, after that the disks were changed in places (I forgot to mention that Windows remained on the old HDD and the laptop successfully booted from it, but slowly, while , located in the optibay ssd, was also not detected in the BIOS, but it was visible in the system.I still do not understand what could be the reason for this kind of undetermination, but I have not yet come up with a solution to this. Now the HDD is formatted, but it is also not displayed either in the BIOS or in the system itself. If anyone has experienced this please help me figure it out. The indicator on the optibay is lit in blue, the hard drive itself can be heard how it works, the switch on the optibay was in all positions, but nothing happens.
Actually, here is the laptop model itself and its performance characteristics:
Lenovo ideapad 500-isk
BIOS Insydeh20h (the latest version installed by Lenovo software)
Intel Core i5 6200U 2300 MHz
12 GB DDR3L 1600 MHz
AMD Radeon R7 M360

If the disk is not visible in the BIOS, it cannot be seen in the system in any way, so someone is lying here
Update the BIOS
