Problem with iPod sync?
Greetings.
I bought an iPod 8Gb, I connect it to my PackardBell LJ75 Windows 7 x64 laptop.
I launch iTunes (this is my first Apple device, I'm not registered in the appstore, I just downloaded iTunes), it says that it has found a new iPod, the device says that everything is fine, I say it turned on and is ready to go. Then the glitches start.
I go through the procedure of registering a new account in iTunes, then the program shows the “sync” window. After 10 minutes of synchronization, the window "synchronization failed, communication session timed out" pops up. Okay I thought :)
Then he added his music to iTunes and tried to transfer one album just by drag-drop to the device, got the error “E8004006”, and then another “I can’t because a folder was selected instead of a file” and another “disk not found”. Those. yes - three message boxes in a row :)
Next, I remove the device. I stick it again - I get the error “I can’t read the content. Make a recovery."
I’m going to do a restore, after restoring everything all over again, the “synchronization” progress is 10 minutes and the error “session time exceeded” ... When I try to upload something again, the same errors and subsequent attempts to connect the device end with the error “I can’t read the content”.
Some vicious circle. I will be glad to any advice.

Try to sync with another computer. Another cord (take or buy from friends).
The glitches are strange, I would have sinned on the device and its brains, if it weren’t for “The device itself works at the same time, wifi, appstore everything is ok.” In this case, the first thought is something with the usb wire/connector/computer.
Did you look for your mistakes by name in search engines? The second thing after checking on another computer and another wire, I would try to find out who and how encountered similar errors.
Well, obviously, the problem is not in the seven itself. Maybe both of your laptops are 64 bit versions? I'm not sure that there are always problems with them, but something must unite both laptops that do not work with the iPod - software or hardware. Hardware is unlikely, if it didn’t work on 2 laptops, but on the third one ... Software - OS, antiviruses, and even drivers, some curves, or viruses.
A fresh installation of the seven and synchronization after installing each program can, of course, figure out what's wrong
Try to "authorize the computer" in iTunes (an item in the drop-down menu). Helped me with my iPhone
To be honest, I don’t remember how the process of registering an account in iTunes goes, but for this, it seems, you don’t need to hook up the device. Accordingly, advice: first try to register in iTunes, and then synchronize the device, otherwise these two processes interfere with each other.
