Problem with freshly assembled pc
I assembled the following machine for a friend:
Phenom x4 965
ASRock 970 Extreeme 4
Asus HD7850 2GB
OCZ Agility 4 SSD 64GB + HDD Seagate 1TB
Kingston DDR3-1600 2x4GB
PSU
Chieftec 550W
Case Zalman Z9 Plus
Win7x64
screen (in 50% of cases - in a gray vertical stripe). Absolutely does not depend on tasks or 2D \ 3D mode.
When running stress tests FurMark \ 3Dmark \ Aida64 on all components - no overheating or freezes.
The day before yesterday, a friend went through FarCry3 in two sittings - without any problems. Yesterday my computer just froze while watching a series. And such hangs 5 times a day.
The OS was reinstalled, the firewood was changed - without results.
Tell me the procedure for identifying problematic iron.

There was a similar problem, it was decided by replacing the power supply with a more powerful one.
1) move/distort all spare parts (including the CPU) and reflash the BIOS
2) temporarily throw out one of the memory sticks (you can run memtest), put another one in case
of crashes / or because of such cases, I always take a mother with built-in video)
4) put the system on the HDD and look at the behavior; reflash the SSD and merge the system onto it, and hope that it passed
PS But does it crash because of the flash player?
ZZY run linux (like it’s faster to find a problem - you don’t need to bother installing Windows again) is not an option, in the vast majority of cases nothing happens with the same Ubuntu, even if the RAM is broken (the only exception is: a broken vidyuha and there are proprietary firewood, and that's not a fact)
1. Tomorrow I'll try to distort everything, the BIOS was flashed today to the very latest - 0 reaction.
2. Let's try.
3. Now it's just spinning on my old GTX460 - so far it does not hang. Exactly like the 7850 does not hang on my computer (in which, by the way, AthlonX4 640, Mother Asus, PSU460 watts, 2x4 of the same RAM). What’s on a friend’s computer, what’s been driving me with the same stresses for half a day — everything is OK for now.
4. That's interesting.
5. Flash player - how to check specifically? I watched the video online - everything is ok. I checked it in both IE and Chrome.
Check the Power Supply, it is best to put another one on for a while and see if the symptoms pass.
Once I caught such friezes because of a faulty PSU. I didn't understand what the problem was, but replacing it completely solved it.
My flash player sometimes hangs. Is this some kind of standard problem?
Maybe I'm certainly inappropriate, but maybe a banal glitch with some kind of software? For example, on my Win7x64, a freshly assembled computer began to hang - the picture just froze. After a bunch of all the attempts and tests, we managed to understand that Azureus Vuze was to blame for everything, if the program was launched at least once during a session, then the computer would freeze sooner or later, if not, then the computer would not hang. He took it to hell - three months of not a single hang.
