Problem loading ubuntu?

Ubuntu does not turn on, when turned on, a purple screen appears, then goes out, the monitor writes no signal.
You can press reset a couple of times and get a purple screen with a menu. Select boot in recovery mode from the menu. Wait until the terminal appears, run startx. The computer starts up, but there is nothing but the desktop. If you wait 10 minutes, then the side and top menu appears, but it does not always load with normal resolution. I tried to reinstall, but the download does not start from the external hard drive - a black screen.
Please help with advice on how to bring this ubuntu back to life, or how to install a new one

Does the system start normally with live-cd/usb?

Try when booting from live USB / CD to select options noapic nolapic
