How to install Windows 10 and Ubuntu?
Good afternoon!
There was a need to use Ubuntu and Win10 on one PC.
I never went into detail, but before 10k when installing Ubuntu there was an option to install next to it, now it is not. I found several instructions for solving this issue. In the simplest version, it was necessary to cut off places from the D drive and, when installing Ubuntu, select "Other option", format the cut disk in ext4 / - after installing the Ubuntu boot option did not appear. I found another option, where it was necessary to cut off the bootgrub partition (or something like that), on which the bootloader is installed - the result is similar to the first one.
What am I doing wrong? How to properly install Win10 and Ubuntu on the same PC?
Help solve the issue, the virtual machine lags terribly.

A virtual machine, everything else is inconvenient: you have to constantly reboot, and there is a high risk of breaking the system.
In order for the virtual machine not to lag, you need to install add-ons for the guest OS, and then it will work at the speed of the host OS in terms of performance.
In addition, reconsider the question of how you use the OS. For example, a web developer doesn't need Linux for development, it's just a runtime environment, so a non-GUI version of Linux run transparently via vagrant will suffice. There is no GUI, which means there is nothing to lag.
