My virtual machine on Linux Ubuntu is already 2 years old, on Windows XP - a year, on Windows 7 - 6 months and they still work fine without failures.
However, virtual machines on Windows 10 (2004) crash a month after installation, giving a blue screen of death with the code: CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. Virtual machines on Windows Server 2022 crash a week after installation, issuing a blue screen of death with an error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION.

Why is this happening and how to solve problems and make virtual machines work?

Open the vmware bug tracker, there is probably a ticket for this case. And so 2004 is clearly too new. Try something older.
