Printer prints differently depending on the type of paper selected

There is a task - to print many (more than a hundred) images from pdf on photographic paper using an inkjet MFP Canon MP190. The first 80 came out fine (with two refills), and then the orange color began to gradually fade into yellow, and then into yellow-green.
This happens when choosing the type of paper Matte Photo Paper in the print settings, with Plain Paper the colors do not suffer (but the quality suffers), the conclusion is that the printer is able to print normally, the problem is not in the ink. The three CMY color rectangles look fine. Several deep cleanings did not help.
What could be the reason for this phenomenon, and how to deal with it?

Gradual color change illustration:

Solution:I found out on one of the forums that after ~ 50 ml of ink, the thin magenta nozzle stops working in cartridges for my printer, so the color is distorted only in halftones with its content. After replacing the cartridge everything was fine.

CISS or cartridges? In the first case, it looks like the degradation of ink in some bank (for example, from sunlight), i.e. the composition of the ink at the top and bottom of the can is already different.
In the second case, incomplete saturation of the capacity is possible due to the constant background fill (the ink is consumed faster than it can be replenished - are color gaps (white dots) visible on the printout?

Apparently, when choosing photo paper, the printer prints and uses cartridges in a completely different way than on plain paper. You can try to change all the cartridges for new ones. And give a good rest to the hard worker.
In general, the inkjet is not intended for such tasks. A cheap color laser on 100+ A4 pages would have already paid off. Another thing is if you need photo quality. What is the purpose of photo paper, do you need photographic quality or just illustrations on thick quality paper?
