Price drop for i7?

Hello habrocommunity. I was going to buy myself an i7, I think to take 950, because (Strangely enough) it is cheaper than 920, and only 3 Euros more expensive than 930 (I looked at Amazon). But I'm interested in such a question: will there be a price reduction for them after the new year in connection with the release of the Sandy Bridge series processors?
PS: I'm also interested in the question, will the ASUS Rampage III Extreme fit into an ATX case? After all, it is wider by 25mm than ATX. Case - Thermaltake V9 Black Edition. Will there be problems with the approach to SATA?

After the new year, it is worth waiting for a general price increase

Are you asking about price reductions, are you taking a case that is not in an adequate system, and at the same time you are taking a mother for 400? Forgive me, but it's somehow stupid to take such a disproportionate config. Do you even know that there is rampag three extreme? Do you know about nitrogen? If not, then I’ll say it straight out - you will have enough mother for 230-250ye.

Sandy bridge, if I don't confuse anything, it's even a different socket. Those. these are low sevens/fives.

No, they won't get cheaper. Why would they be cheaper? This is an extreme platform. 920th, 930th are out of production. Before withdrawal, they had the same official price of $294. Now such a price tag on the 950th.
Although a stupid question from a person taking a $400 fee. All the same, after all, will you take 4 vidyushki?
