Preprocessor. Which one to choose for the first acquaintance?

I thought about touching it, trying to use the preprocessor. But here's how to start: Less, Sass, Stylus?
For what more Russian-language information? And with what will it be more convenient to write according to the BEM methodology (not tools, but methodology)?

I am using SASS. Satisfied. The code is concise and understandable, the entry threshold is zero, documentation is practically not needed.

BEM - don't care what you use inside the element/block description. At least write your own preprocessor, this seems to be its charm.
you need to know less - since it is used in the popular framework - bootstrap, you will definitely have to deal with it.
And so - I advise stylus. It compiles faster, the syntax is IMHO nicer

We at bem-components decided to use Roole .
