@tamogavk

what is virt. users?

Virtual users are those users that are stored in the database.
Right now I'm setting up the following scheme: Postfix + Dovecot + MySQL (backend). Those. My users are stored in a MySQL database.

I won’t say for a book, but in terms of security

There is only one Russian book on Postfix that you have read.
The problem is that a Linux mail server is not just an MTA. There are Dovecot and other components.
It is rather difficult for an unprepared person to understand how it all works in general.
Therefore, you have to learn on your own from articles on the Internet.
Last year, I raised the mail server according to articles from the site:
https://serveradmin.ru/kontaktyi/
https://serveradmin.ru/ustanovka-i-nastroyka-iredmail/
That is, I initially chose a simpler option with a ready-made assembly, but along the way already understood the nuances.
