Postfix Freebsd Sources and Ports
Friends and comrades. Help solve the dilemma.
There was an old server on freebsd 6.3 with mail that was compiled from source codes: postfix + courier and everything they need
. There is a task to set up a new server with "new mail" and support for multi-domain configuration.
Naturally, the choice fell on freebsd 10.0 amd64, postfix 2.10(11) dovercot and other goodies.
The dilemma is this: the mind says to download all source and compile, install, jam and flies separately. Or go to /usr/ports/mail/posfix210/ and make install clean stupidly putting the necessary checkboxes.
The end result and there and there will be of course editing configs.
But the bottom line is that in freebsd 10.0 there is no gcc compiler by default, and postfix with others yells good obscenities.
Tell me where am I stupid?
