At a minimum, think about changing the interface, contrast fonts, etc. I don’t know much about elderly people with excellent eyesight, but in my opinion, the text on a smartphone for an elderly person can be small. This is the main one, because the rest of the applications (popular) try to make it intuitive and therefore it is rather necessary to let me remember several patterns of behavior in one or another os. And if we talk about optimization for an elderly person, then at the first start, an interactive localized tutorial would not hurt.
