Please tell me a simple engine for an online store, without a billing basket and other things. All you need is an admin panel with a list of orders and their status, the order should also have a form for sending a message to the customer and the ability to attach another product to it.

I would venture to suggest ASP.NET MVC Music Store ( http://mvcmusicstore.codeplex.com/ , http://www.asp.net/mvc/tutorials/mvc-music-store ) Don't look at the word Music, you can sell anything .
This, of course, is not exactly a CMS. But there are a lot of examples and documentation on this store. The code itself is simple and clear (less than 1000 lines of code).
The advantage of this approach is that instead of a clumsy php monster, you will get the strictly necessary functionality, and at the same time an understanding of how it works.

Look towards Quick.Cart. I personally am not a web developer, I made a store and it even works :)

Prestashop seems to be quite simple,
I somehow did it on Drupal with an ubercart. also not very difficult.
