Pitfalls of replacing RAM?
It has an ultrabook - transformer Sony Vaio Duo 11 (SVD1121Q2RB)
There was a need to put it in order, including an upgrade. If everything is clear and simple with an SSD, then there is no RAM with it.
At the moment there are 2 boards of 2 GB DDR3 1333 MHz so-dimm, I want to increase it to 8 or more. Having surfed the net a bit, I saw that there is also DDR3L, which has a reduced power consumption. But there are new questions that have not yet been answered.
Tell me please!
1. Will DDR3L work correctly if replaced?
2. Frequency selection. Are there any limits? Or can I put from 1600 and more MHz?
3. Will the power consumption really decrease and it will be noticeable in the operating time from a single battery charge. Or not?

1. Depends on the processor. If I googled correctly and it costs i5-3317U , then it supports DDR3L.
2. i5-3317U supports specs 1333 and 1600.
3. I wouldn't expect to notice a difference. Memory consumes not so much energy in comparison with the same display.
Pitfall: take the memory with the ability to return to the store. Cases of individual incompatibility of a particular piece of iron and a particular memory bar are quite common.

+ proprietary connector, which generally excludes the possibility of an upgrade.
