Pink ripples appear and disappear on a Dell monitor - what kind of mystic?

I have a Dell s2340ls monitor. About 2 months ago, the left side of the screen - about 1/3 - went pink, or even reddish ripples. Tried changing cables, changing monitor socket, changing color settings, screen refresh rate, and so on. After 3 hours of dancing with a tambourine, the problem disappeared. And the other day the ripple appeared again. The techniques that saved the situation last time did not help. With 3 different cables, I tried to connect the monitor to the main and discrete video card. The ripple didn't disappear. Having connected the monitor via HDMI to the laptop, I made sure that it was not the case. I called several repair shops - "There are no spare parts for Dell and we don't know if they will." I already decided to buy a new one, although my eyes popped out from the prices. And this morning I turn on the car to once again ask the price of the equipment, the ripples are in place and I go about my household chores - well, how long can it take to shower, eat breakfast and feed a rabbit? - an hour, maybe an hour and a half. I come - there are no ripples, the image is normal. Disappeared for 3 days. At first I thought that the matter was in the active subwoofer, which I removed from the monitor at first - but this is not a CRT to be magnetized.
Maybe someone knows what kind of mysticism it is and are these signals that the monitor is dying? I don’t really want to spend just like that from 16 to 20 thousand on a new one, and this is only 3 years old. Thank you in advance.

Most likely problems in the matrix controller. Either the contact "floats" or the control transistors are on the verge of dying. If this is a contact problem, then anything can affect the contact - temperature deformations, humidity, etc.
you can work safely, in the worst case, part of the matrix will simply cease to function. It is treated only by replacing the matrix.

Pink ripples happen when the backlight dies. True, the S2340LS was not successful in Google, while the S2340L has an LED backlight and, in principle, there can be no ripples. Even strange.

Alas, I didn’t save the screen, but there was a similar problem: Why does the “trace” remain on the monitor?
It was decided only by a warranty replacement of the monitor, and Dell recognized the problem without any problems and even brought the monitor home.
