So, in December I bought a laptop. Until February, the flight was normal. In the same month, chronic packet losses of up to 40% and pings up to exorbitant numbers up to 5000ms began (I have never seen such before). The download speed, for example, in a torrent, is paradoxical, but 5mb / s is confident, there are no complaints. But tabs in browsers practically do not load, files through them also download at a speed of no more than 20kb / s, although earlier, for example, it always downloaded perfectly with poison, videos on YouTube also practically do not want to load, I generally keep quiet about online games. And this has been going on with me for a few months now. BUT! During these few months, for a reason completely incomprehensible to me, I had several days (not in a row) when the ping was normal, and the packets were not lost, and the speed was super. And on the phone, for example, the Internet always worked properly. In this regard, I don’t know what to sin on, a laptop or a modem? Since my knowledge in all this is mediocre, I am ready to attach some files / screenshots that will help to understand and solve the problem. I hope for an answer!

Check on which intermediate server the losses occur

With the screenshot of this application, stomp to the provider if there is a problem with a wired connection.
Ideally, to rule out software causes, do this test with livecd ubuntu (command mtr byfly.by)

is it a WiFi connection? If so, then one of the neighbors may be spoiling, for example, a faulty access point behind the wall, or just a point that sat on the same channel as yours, or even nearby. If the point is at 2.4, then a change to 5ghz can help, there are more channels, and in general it will be better.
