Ping(latency) in one data center between virtual machines over private network?
When ordering two or more vps from a hoster in one data center, if these vps exchange data through network ports over a private network, then
1) which ping, i.e. delay can I calculate? Spread from min. and max. value (if the servers are in the same DC, but "in opposite corners"?) Will it be large? If the servers are in different DCs, but all are connected via a private network?
2) the protocol affects the delay? Udp, TCP
3) and most importantly: network delay is a fact, but if you measure the time from the moment of sending, then the network delay, and only then what is the time when the second vps can process the transmitted data,? (Moving conditional bytes inside the VPS from the network card to the processor is conditional)

1) it runs very fast inside OVH within the DC, the difference in ping to Canada is noticeable, of course,
but it will not be large inside one DC due to routing,
and, sometimes, everything is very fast between DCs in the network of one hoster,
especially for VPS
2) ping at a different level, do not affect. Moreover - they do not know how he does about them
3) everything is average in the ward. in VPS resources are rummaged. If you want a guaranteed one - even a not-so-cheapest dedik will not always be able to subscribe
for specific numbers, I recommend taking 2.5 dollars (returned), registering a 50-dollar free trial here , and raising different configs for a couple of days to test
