Is it possible to implement a normal ICMP ping on a flash (here they ask you to compose a narrow-profile speedtest.net)?

I once did a pseudo-ping using RPC to Red5 with time measurement on both sides, but this is not entirely true, especially since sometimes, for reasons that are not clear to me, the result is more than 500 ms, while the console ping shows as it should. So the hands did not reach to figure out which side the jamb is on. Yes, and putting java with red because of the pingalka is, in my opinion, an overkill.

It’s not very interesting to tinker with an HTTP request and a timer, and I don’t need to measure the response of the web server.

You can use a socket connection. Only it will be necessary to put / write something on the server side.
