PhpStorm 2020.2.3 won't start on Windows 10. How to fix it?
Hello. I ran into an annoying problem. PhpStorm 2020.2.3 x64 stopped running after updating Windows 10 to build 2004. When installing it, you can run it once, but if you close the program and try to open it again, nothing opens. By the way, I tried to install IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition 2020.2.3 x64 with no problems. I don't even know where to dig. phpStorm by the way works well on a remote server on Windows Server 2012, but I need it on a work laptop. Because of this, I do not dare to take a license.

Everything works!
I don’t know where exactly to attribute my version, but this branch seems to be the most appropriate by name, so I’ll write here, suddenly it will come in handy for someone) Look, I reinstalled phpstorm several times from 2019.3.3 to 2021.2.3. When it was updated to 2021.2.3, versions after 2020.nn stopped running. Accordingly, all 2019.nn and 2020.nn worked, and 2021.nn did not work. Google googled, nothing helped from the proposed options, like reinstallation with registry cleaning and reboots, then I decided to start renaming all the JetBrains folders from User \ AppData and after two minutes and such and such a mother, I found this (and) pack (s) that interfere with launch. It turned out all I had to do was delete: "C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\JetBrains\PhpStorm2021.1"
"C:
Then run PhpStorm and it will create them (these remote folders) again and everything will work. I hope this will be useful to someone. Because I didn't find anything like that when I searched.
