PHP training, Bitrix programming training?
I welcome everyone!
The goal of the company is this: it is necessary to train an employee and put him in the position of a 1s Bitrix programmer, according to the tasks of the company. In particular, the company has a site on Bitrix, which will be launched in the near future - we need a staff unit that could independently work with the site. Both maintenance and development and refinement.
At the same time, in my luggage I have knowledge of: html, css, Bitrix administration, work with hosting, domains, work with mail. In general, there is little understanding of php. Understanding how mysql works in the interface (find, edit, delete a table).
A Bitrix developer without knowledge of programming languages, php for example, will not be one. Therefore, in our understanding, you first need to study at least a similar geekbrains course (read the reviews, the reviews are bad).
Then you can move on to learning Bitrix programming, since the courses are small, and you can learn the platform personally, not necessarily in courses.
Based on this information, can you advise us something? The company is ready to pay for the necessary courses.
Interested in remote learning, because. we are located in St. Petersburg.
The task is precisely this, to train, to say that it is easier to find and cheaper to find an accomplished programmer, no need to say.
There are many courses on php in the network for 6-8 weeks. Is it really possible to learn anything in such a period of time?
Thanks to all!

You want some bullshit. I understand if you had some kind of exotic, according to which there are 5 specialists in a city of a million people. But Bitrix is not from this opera.
If you expect to hire yesterday's student after the courses, don't be surprised by frequent falls and the constant increase in the cost of support.
It all depends on the individual. One will figure it out in a week, and the other won’t understand it in a year. If you are completely against hiring a ready-made specialist, then look for at least someone who already has experience in programming.
Are you considering hiring a mentor for this person who can provide the necessary base + kick in the right direction for further self-education?

You will spend time and money on training a person who later can easily do without your offer. Just by getting some practice.
Yes, and to postpone the launch of the project just because "grow your own specialist" is not entirely justified. There is a site, the one who developed it will deal with emerging issues much better.
If a person passed the university as a programmer or knows how to program in another language, of course, 8 weeks is enough, if not, then alas, you will get a seal at the exit, besides, Bitrix is terrible and very Legacy code and this will greatly demotivate a person
It is better to contact Bitrix partners - they call themselves training centers. There you can also improve PHP and learn how to work with Bitrix.
