PHP programmer certification. What to choose? And is it worth it at all?

Good afternoon. I am a fairly experienced php developer. I worked all the time in a large company, never freelanced.
Now there is a desire to try this direction, in connection with this, a question for you, dear colleagues, is it worth bothering with certification, are certificates valued in the labor market? And if they are valued, then where and what is better to rent. Interested in php and html/css.

PHP certifications do not play any role at all. Moreover, the only more or less known one is ZCE.
There was a case at one job when there were 2 good candidates, one with ZCE, the other without. They took the one without a certificate. Obviously out of personal preference.

In the PHP world, there are only two kinds of certification - Zend and Symfony .
Appreciated or not... I think you can correctly submit it, for example, on LinkedIn or just in a resume.
And in general - go. This is more for you and not for a potential client.

Having a certificate is certainly appreciated when applying to an employer. Moreover, it is not only appreciated, but also affects the level of wages that you can count on. According to an analytical study by hh.ru, the salary level certified IT professionals are on average 30% more than the salaries of their non-certified counterparts.
As for freelancing, I think that with common similarities, preference will go to a freelancer with a certificate - this is logical.
Regarding the certification itself, I would recommend ZEND. There are many materials and manuals for preparing for such certification, you can find it here: https://vk.com/php_sert
There is also a trial test to test your knowledge.
And finally, certification dumps can be downloaded here: itexams.ru/index.php/ekzameny/zend

In the freelance market, you don’t need them, but in office work, yes, they play a role!

Bitrix certificates are sometimes asked, but not always. Clearly for sites on Bitrix. Magenta is also certified . They asked this when I was hired. Adds skill in the eyes of foreign customers on freelance.

Yes, it is better to get certified under the ZCE program from Zend, this certificate is valued more abroad. Sometimes it can be a guarantee of employment in a foreign company, usually in Germany. They offer an offer to those progers who are in the yellow pages .
Read more about preparation here.
