Just a couple of days ago I met such a selection of galleries for WordPress.
and in general thousands of them, different. I like the ones on the lightbox.

if you just lay it out:
google picassa - it’s very convenient and easy to use,
and there are a lot of PHP scripts for photo galleries,
I looked at a couple (of the highest rated ones), but somehow I don’t really like them
, what I want is not there, and it’s easier to redo it - it’s easier to write your own.

Yandex.Photo (fotki.yandex.ru) - photos can be linked to the general Yandex.Map "Photos" layer.
Panoramio (www.panoramio.com) - photos without faces can be published in Google Maps / Earth
Picasa (picasa.google.ru)
I really like its ability to quickly publish to Web Albums (http://picasaweb.google.com/home ) from the program itself without unnecessary actions, as well as searching and sorting albums by faces.

If you do not need to bind to a domain, then I can advise Flickr. Especially after they made authorization through Google.
