Photoshop floats vs tabs?
Many people recommend changing Photoshop's default settings from opening windows in tabs to opening in floating windows. I preferred - swim. However, switching between running programs on Photoshop is not very convenient, because. this does not bring up Photoshop itself, but only its free-floating tab with no Photoshop workspace. M.b. Is there a setting that restricts Photoshop windows from floating within the Photoshop interface? - and then somehow I can’t adapt to the right practices ...

Floating windows are a joke. Use tabs. Inside the tab, use artboards to keep all the junk in one place, and not in a dozen tabs / windows. And in general, in general, work as you like, the interface of Photoshop was made so flexible for a reason - set it up and work as you like.
