Photoshop does not write file type after saving on Mac, what should I do?

After switching to a new poppy, I rolled up a new FS, everything works perfectly, only before, when saving, Photoshop automatically added the file type to the name (depending on which one was selected for saving), but now the file type does not add to the name. In this regard, the file cannot be sent anywhere, since sites do not understand what kind of file it is. But if you manually add the .type file to the name, then everything works fine. That's just every time to manually write the type of odd laziness. Does anyone know how to solve this? I will be grateful!

catalina?
there is a bug in the shop. the adobe people themselves write

Issue 1
Changing the file format does not change the extension of the file in the name field.
Edit the name's extension manually to match the format.
