How to setup finder in macos?

Greetings.
Switcher question, but still.
In the finder, I lack slightly larger icons for files so that I can visually distinguish between file types, and I also miss opening an archive without unpacking it, or at least an archiver that could show the contents without unpacking again. What finder program do you use?
