Phone choice: Xperia Ray or Xperia U?

My glorious Nokia is slowly falling into senile insanity, and it's time to choose a phone for yourself. Having examined the offered range, I found that only two phones have normal sizes: Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray and Sony Xperia U. And choosing between the two is a tricky one, and the lack of user reviews and feedback on U makes it even more difficult
. The new communicators from Sony look better than any other Android-smartphone released after the HTC Legend. Ray pulls on the female model (80% of buyers are girls). I'm not a girl, I'm sure of that.
Case: Ray definitely wins, having metal parts of the case and a physical Home button. U nothing to brag about - plastic and touch keys.
Filling: U has a dual-core processor. For me, it doesn't matter.
Camera: Ray has a better camera, as far as I can tell. For me, it doesn't matter.
Screen: U 3.5" versus 3.3" for Ray at the same resolution and the same size of smartphones. Pleasant, but not critical.
Battery: here Ray puts U on the shoulder blades: 1500 mAh versus 1320. And this is with a smaller screen and weaker hardware. Ray is not without reason praised for its amazing (by smartphone standards) battery life: a week is not a fantasy for him. And for me this is very important - I have already lost the habit of Windows Mobile and the need to charge the phone every day.
Memory: Ray has 300 MB of user accessible memory (out of 1 GB) and a memory card slot (4 GB included). The U has 4 GB of user-accessible memory (out of 8 GB) with no expandability (and it counts as a multimedia smartphone!). In principle, of course, I'm not going to listen to music and watch movies on my phone, but four gigabytes still bother me. Call records, plus raster maps, plus something else - so they ended already.
Price: 7600 rubles for Xperia Ray and 9300 for Xperia U. It doesn't matter, they can be considered equal.
It seems to have learned everything. Owners of these phones, what can you say about them? The choice is very difficult, and I can not decide.

According to your link to the market, U has 8GB of memory. Ray's 300MB built-in is very sad. Sex with Link2SD is expected (because the standard mechanism for transferring applications to SD does not work for all applications), which also does not work for everyone. 1500 mAh and a week of work are some fairy tales. I have a battery similar in capacity to the Defy motor, the percent works at frequencies of 300, 800, 1000 (initially - 800) + deep sleep - at best, it lasts 3-4 days, it's all wireless to hell turn off and occasionally use it exclusively for calls.

Ray's wife, I would not say that she directly actively uses it, but she charges it every day, maybe it's in the stock firmware. By the way, stock ICS on Ray slows down, and noticeably slows down, so you shouldn't discount stronger hardware.

Well, this will be my first Android phone, but the current 2" of my Nokia is enough for me.
