PhalconPHP Paginator how does it interact with DB?

Established logging on the connection to the database.
I went to the logs. and there request without LIMIT.
Does this mean that PhalconPHP is loading all rows from the database?

I have never worked with Phalcon, but even in the official doc it is written that the result of the request is transferred there. (i.e. ready-made data).
How should he change a request that has already been processed? :)
