PfSense and usergate vpn = friendship?

Good day gentlemen! Is there a way to lay a vpn channel between usergate and pfsense screens.
I'm trying to think over the unification of networks of offices. The usergate documentation only says how to build a vpn tunnel between another usergate node.
Is it really possible to make friends between the world and Russian systems?

usergate uses L2TP + ipsec as VPN. PfSense can do this. Surely there will be many pitfalls, but you can try to set it up.
