"PASS command failed. The mail server “pop.yandex.ru” replied: Mailbox busy or something nasty happened”
Who has problems with such errors?
For my client, recently, such an error in Thunderbird began to appear too often. He is nervous. And makes me nervous.
What are the fix options? Options for using corporate mail without large investments? The local mail server + relay option is spinning in my head, but the problems of spam and 100% availability still prevent us from switching to this option + these are additional resources.

Go to each mailbox and enable access from mail clients in the settings.

I observed something similar when repeatedly connecting to the same account on Yandex mail via IMAP: Browser + Thunderbird + Yandex.Mail on Android
Thunderbird every now and then received a thrashing from the Yandex IMAP server and asked the user for a new login / password.
(which was very annoying for the technical support service :))
The error is exactly the same, only the imap.yandex.ru server
