PC freezes when using the built-in video card, why?
A video card that is not integrated began to display everything with artifacts (red bars).
I think it's her age, but that's not the point. I cut it out and switch to the integrated one - it’s fine, it shows, but now ... I choose the rough load of the desired OS, it loads, but as soon as X’s “graphics” starts in general, everything hangs tightly, so not only in linux, but also even in windows (I was not too lazy to check).
I have an option - do I need to install drivers for intel graphics? I just don't feel like trying it now. Or maybe it's something else, for example, what to change in the BIOS?
If you need any information about PC configs - write, I'll throw it off.

so you can boot from live-cd or winpe and see if it also hangs or not. Well, in the BIOS, I didn’t see how much memory was given for the video, and it’s not clear about the memory two identical bars, or they put it there), try to start on one to check if they are different.
Miku Hatsune , it would be nice to attach a description of the hardware / laptop brand.
It sounds like a BIOS firmware error, I observed similar gaps on the ASUS N550JV, they were connected with the old BIOS version.
